During a series of events entitled “Intellectual Property Rights with the World Wealth Forum” that formed part of the Guangzhou Lawyers Association’s 30th-anniversary celebrations, Mr. Liu Yanxi, Senior Partner of Lifang & Partners, was awarded the honorary title of “Leading Guangzhou Intellectual Property Lawyer.”

The selection criteria for the award included influence within the profession, the training of talent, high professional standards, and contributions to professionalism within the city. Many lawyers were included in the selection process for the title.

Mr. Xie Xiaodan, the Secretary of the Standing Committee of the Guangzhou CCP Politics and Law Committee, gave a speech at the award ceremony.

In support of the upcoming “Fortune Magazine Global 2017 Forum,” the Guangzhou Lawyers Association applied the themes of “knowledge makes wealth, innovation shapes the future” for the event.

Mr. Liu Yanxi is a Senior Partner and head of Lifang & Partners’ Guangzhou office. He specializes in a full range of intellectual property related legal services, has personally prosecuted nearly a thousand patents within China and abroad, and has appeared in more than 300 intellectual property litigation and antitrust cases.
