On Sunday January 12, 2014, at the annual gathering of the legal community sponsored by Fangyuan Magazine (published under guidance of the Supreme People's Procuratorate), Mr. Xie and 9 other lawyers were elected “Outstanding Lawyers of 2013” in ten different areas of practice. Mr. Xie is recognized in the antitrust area where he has handled landmark litigations, including the Qihoo 360 v Tencent disputes, as well as high profile NDRC antitrust investigation cases.

Mr. Xie is also a senior intellectual property litigator top ranked in Chambers directories and awarded Top Ten Beijing Intellectual Property Lawyer in 2012 for his strong representation in many important lawsuits in the past decade.

The Sunday event was attended by officials, academics, entrepreneurs and law practitioners from the National People’s Congress, the Supreme People’s Court, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, law schools, corporations and the All China Lawyers Association.
