2013 Microsoft Outside Counsel Annual Meeting was held on June 6-7, 2013 in Beijing. Mr. Xie Guanbin, Ms. Zhangbin, Mr. Deng Yao and Ms. Deng Qingxia from Lifang & Partners were invited to the meeting. Mr. Xie and Mr. Deng were invited to speak at panel discussion relating to software legalization of (commercial) end users and on how outside lawyers could play a bigger role in that respect. Mr. Deng and Ms Zhang were invited to join the panel on team building, sharing their experiences and insight regarding litigation strategy, inter-law-firm cooperation and evidence collection in actions targeted big commercial users. In recognition of Lifang’s outstanding contributions on IPR protection in China, Lifang received The Best Practice Award for the second consecutive year.
