Xie Guanbin, a Managing Senior Partner of Lifang & Partners, was appointed to the Expert Committee of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate (“SPP”). The SPP is the highest-level national agency with responsibilities for most prosecutions and investigations in China. To aid the SPP in its supervisory role over administrative proceedings, the SPP formed the Expert Committee on 29 July 2018.

The Expert Committee consists of some of China’s most experienced legal scholars, lawyers, judges, National People’s Congress Deputies and Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference Members. The purpose of the Expert Committee is to provide people’s procuratorates with expert opinions and guidance on civil and administrative laws, as a part of SPP’s landscape holding more public and knowledge-based consolations.
