Qihoo V. Tencent Appeal Case Selected as Supreme People’s Court’s Guiding Cases

On March 9th 2017, Supreme People’s Court published No. 78-87 guiding cases, in which Qihoo V. Tencent dispute over abusing market dominance represented by Mr. Xie Guanbin and Mr. Jin Yi is selected as the guiding case numbered 78.

This case is the first and the only dispute case that was heard by Supreme People’s Court under the Anti-monopoly Law since it took effect in 2008. The trial and verdict have drawn great attention and heated discussion from both academic and practical worlds.
