The Fourth Guangdong Intellectual Property Legal Services Forum has successfully concluded in Zhuhai city. The two day event lasting from October 15 to 16 was hosted by the intellectual property committee of the Zhuhai lawyers association assisting Guangdong lawyers association, Zhuhai lawyers association, etc. Mr. Yanxi Liu, Mr. Yao Deng, Mr. Rangjun Wu, Mr. Yuandong Jiang, Mr. Hongbing Wang, Mr. Qilin Wang, and Ms. Qingxia Deng, attorneys at Lifang, attended this forum.

Mr. Liu was invited as the coordinator at the topic of “Practices in Infringement Litigation over the Internet”; at the meantime, Yao Deng, Rangjun Wu, and Qilin Wang in turn delivered speeches titled “IP Management for Museums and Their Derivatives”, “Copyrights Strategies for Online Games”, and “Huawei v IDC Standard Essential Patent over License Fees Disputes ”, and Hongbing Wang was one of the discussion panel at the topic of “Criminal Liabilities for Passing-off Trademarks”.

Experts and participants enjoyed the in-depth and lively discussion which touched upon a wide range of issues from manufacturing enterprises’ development legacy and status quo, overseas enterprises’ IP strategies, exploration of IP operations, information freedom and knowledge sharing, to IP issues regarding one road one belt initiative. The splendid speeches and comments made by the experts and professionals greatly benefited all the participants.
