Lifang (Guangzhou) successfully held an IP legal salon at the afternoon October 19th, 2016. The event, regarding the UK legal system and major IP cases, has invited two leading English lawyers, Mr. Alex Charlton, QC, and Mr. Matthew Lavy to share their profound understanding in these areas.

Mr. Charlton, senior barrister with Chambers and Partners, introduced the key components of the British legal environment, followed by a lecture about specific IP cases and their corresponding strategies and impacts given by Mr. Lavy, whom is also the “Annual Bright IP/IT Youngster” of Chambers and Partners. Positive feedback from participants showed their ever-growing interests in foreign statutory systems and how to streamline cases within. Their professional remarks and unique views were well received during the Q&A session.
