On November 29, 2013, Lifang Partners Xie Guanbin and Zhang Bin represented Beijing Times in the first instance hearing of the reputation infringement case brought by Nongfu Spring, a major Chinese bottled water supplier. The case has attracted a lot of attention as it involves standards for bottled water and right to reputation of legal persons and due to the high damages of 200 million RMB as requested by the plaintiff.
