A few days ago, Beijing High Court made a decision favorable to Lifang’s client, Tianyi Luo, on the patent validity dispute among Luo, the Patent Re-examination Board and Changjiang Li. The dispute arose from a patent invalidation petition raised by Li who challenged validity of Luo’s patent before the Board. In No. 15452 Decision of the Board, Luo’s patent was partly invalidated. Retained by Luo, two lawyers of Lifang, Mr. Guanbin Xie and Xi Sun, sued the Board before Beijing No. 1 Intermediate Court and Li joined this administrative suit as a third party, but the Intermediate Court affirmed the Decision in （2011）Yi Zhong Zhi Xing Chu Zi No. 9 Administrative Decision. Lifang represented Luo to appeal before Beijing High Court, which vacated the decisions of the Board and the Intermediate Court. (see (2012) Gao Xing Zhong Zi No. 693 Administrative Decision. )
