On November 2, 2012, Lifang partner Mr. Xie Guanbin attended the Tenth ‘Wuhan• Optics Valley of China’ Intellectual Property Protection International Forum and gave a keynote speech on ‘Strategy and Tricks in IP Litigation’. The event was sponsored by the State Intellectual Property Office (SIPO) and Wuhan Municipal Government and organized by patent administration departments and intellectual property bureaus of Hubei province and Wuhan’s East Lake High-tech Zone. The more than 350 delegates at the meeting included enterprise representatives and intellectual property lawyers from China and abroad. This year’s forum focuses on intellectual property protection and development of key cities. It was intended to encourage discussion of practice and experiences of domestic and international intellectual property protection and to further explore approaches of indigenous innovation and protection of high and new technology enterprises.
