Last Saturday, Lifang’s managing partner, Xie Guanbin, was invited to speak on CCTV’s economy channel. That edition of the programme, Dialogue, featured Chinese lawyers and legal services. As a guest speaker, Mr. Xie talked about how enterprises could enlist lawyers to help safeguard their intellectual property and other rights and interests. He cited as an example a trademark dispute where Lifang’s representation relieved its client of an eight-year long litigation plight.

Other guests to the programme included principals from the Ministry of Justice, SIPO’s Legislation Department, Legal Department of China Security Regulatory Commission, All China Lawyers Association and Beijing Lawyers Association. Lawyers and representatives from other social and industry sectors were also present.
