On December 24, 2009, Beijing No.2 Intermediate People's Court issued a judgment on what the media dubbed China's first anti-monopoly case, where Lifang's managing partner, Mr. Xie Guanbin defended China Unicom. The court found for Unicom and rejected all of the plaintiff's requests. The case is instrumental in establishing principles concerning rules of evidence and market definition in anti-monopoly litigation
Lifang's anti-monopoly team has been involved in abundant relevant matters since 2007 and has gained extensive knowledge and experiences over the year.
