Mr Li began practising intellectual property law in 2002, after studying abroad. He provides clients with comprehensive and professional services in regard to patent prosecutions, invalidations, litigations and Freedom-To-Operate issues; disputes over copyright, trademarks and trade secrets; planning and implementing IP strategies, overseas IP warnings, patent maps, IP investigations for M&As; and other matters. He has rich experience in patent litigation due to his ability to handle complicated issues involving chemical engineering, medicine, biotechnology, machinery, telecommunications, computer software and integrated circuits. He has won most of his cases, which makes his services very sought after.

Most of his clients are enterprises ranking in the Fortune Global 500, leading domestic enterprises and well-known universities. Many of Mr Li’s cases are important, complicated and influential. Cases handled by Mr Li have been included in the Typical Cases Analysis on Medicinal Patents, Top 10 Patent Re-examination Board Cases and Top 10 Fujian High People’s Court Cases.

Mr Li has provided legal service for clients such as Samsung, Nestlé, Adidas, Michelin, 3M, Honeywell, Fresenius-kabi, Apex, Danieli, Züblin, Motherswork, OSIM, Baidu, Nongfu Spring, Founder, Welman Pharmaceutical, Joyoung, Beijing Petrochemical Engineering, Zhongtong Bus, AnSteel, Sino Magnetics Technology, Peking University, Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and others.

Mr Li joined Lifang & Partners as a partner in 2016. Before joining, he worked in other leading firms as a partner.
