In the realm of compliance, Mr. Qu excels at dealing with data compliance and personal information protection issues and is able to provide consultations on software development, open-source software compliance, and legal risk management for programmers.

Mr. Qu, with a dual education background in law and computer science, brings extensive judicial experience as a former judge and has served as in-house legal counsel at a leading IT enterprise. This unique combination of expertise allows Mr. Qu to synthesize various factors such as court trials, commercial calculation, and industry trends to provide clients with professional, comprehensive, and effective legal and compliance solutions.

Mr. Qu also has a solid academic foundation and has published numerous articles and papers, some of which have received high praise from the courts, while others have been featured in China's leading intellectual property journals

Before joining Lifang, Mr. Qu successively served in the IP Division of a Beijing court, COFCO Group and ByteDance/TikTok.
