Ms Sun specializes in resolving disputes and facilitating commercials transactions. She has been practising as a lawyer for over 10 years and is well versed in the fields of corporate and commercial law, legal and regulatory compliance, labor law and dispute resolution.

In the area of legal and regulatory compliance, Ms Sun has acted as legal counsel to companies and institutions in the fields of technology, finance, telecommunications, energy, construction, real estate, investment, culture media, government agencies, and other fields. Her clients include China Railway Corporation, China Minsheng Bank, China Citic Bank, TrendMicro, Audatex, Beijing Capital Group, IBM, Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, ISTIC, Wisefund and others.

In the area of labor and employment, with extensive legal knowledge and practical experience, Ms. Sun has provided comprehensive legal services to different types of clients and represented numerous labor and employment disputes. She has assisted Microsoft, Trend Micro, Agilent, and others in handling labor and employment issues including establishment of labor compliance system, drafting and revision of employment contracts and other documents, labor law-related trainings, foreign individuals' employment in China, and so forth.

As a litigator, Ms Sun has handled a number of high-value, complicated and influential cases such as:

- She acted for a biotechnology company in the second instance of a dispute relating to an exclusive distribution contract. She recovered over RMB10 million in compensation for the client;

- She represented Global Industry Comapny in a contractual dispute worth around RMB2 billion. Ms Sun provided the clients with all-round litigation services and a preservation scheme. At the start of the case, she promptly preserved property for later enforcement and won in the first instance. The case is currently under appeal;

- She acted for a technology company in a dispute with shareholders. She was successful in both the first instance and the appeal;

- She acted for a bank in a negotiable instrument dispute which involved RMB1 billion and was successful in the first instance. The case is currently under appeal.
