Mr Xu’s areas of practice include finance and insurance, intellectual property, real estate, investments, and financing. Mr Xu has handled many complicated and influential cases. Through this, he has accumulated extensive experience in handling litigation matters from filing to execution. He strives to protect his clients’ legitimate interests and rights through negotiation, mediation, arbitration and litigation.

Mr Xu has acted in multiple complicated and influential cases. He represented the Land Office of Suizhou in a dispute over state-owned land transfer contracts and won at the Supreme People’s Court. He represented a client during a private lending retrial and won at the Supreme People’s Court. He represented a Shanxi based Energy company during a private lending retrial case at the Supreme People’s Court. He represented a small loan company in a series of contract dispute retrials and won all of those cases at Hubei High People’s Court. He successfully represented Greatwall Life Insurance Co., during a contract dispute retrial at Hubei High People’s Court.

In the field of finance, Mr Xu provides dispute resolution and specialized legal services for many banks, financial firms and insurance companies, such as Industrial Bank Wuhan Branch, Industrial Bank Shanghai North Branch, China Citic Bank, Bank of China and its subordinate rural banks, PICC, Great Wall Life Insurance Co., and others. In recent years, Mr Xu has handled dozens of contract disputes involving loans, money management, judgment execution objections, and insurance agency matters. The cases that he has handled are collectively worth approximately 3 billion.

In addition, Mr Xu acts as outside legal counsel for companies that are in the field of finance, insurance, real estate, technology, entertainment and media, military supplies, and investment funds.

Mr Xu began practicing as a lawyer in 2004. He worked for Lifang & Partners from 2007 to 2011, and from 2011 to 2014, he served as a partner of Hubei Zhongsan Law Firm. In 2014, he returned to Lifang & Partners as a partner.
